Hi!
I'm Cathy, creator and owner of
Little Box of Love.

With a passion for tackling waste and consumption,
Little Box of Love was set up in 2020 as an eco friendly alternative to the popular pamper box gift.
​
Since then we have shipped several thousands of packages to every corner of the UK and beyond for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, bereavements, good lucks, congratulations, Eid, Valentines, Christmas and so much more.
​
Each gift is thoughtfully curated with products that use recycled materials, biodegradable packaging, environmentally friendly and cruelty free production methods. All packaging materials are reusable, recyclable, biodegradable or compostable, ensuring that they have a minimal environmental impact.
Our gift boxes are perfect for any occasion and can be customised to suit individual preferences and budgets. We are proud to support the zero-waste movement while providing high-quality, thoughtful gifts that won't contribute to the plastic pollution crisis.

What makes us
eco friendly?

Supporting Small
We source our products and packaging from a huge number of UK businesses, many of which are small and independent. Did you know? If you spend £10 at a local independent shop, it can result in up to £50 more being recirculated in the local economy than if £10 was spent at a chain. This is because business owners are more likely to spend their money locally, creating a multiplier effect that benefits the entire community and allows all small businesses to thrive.

Giving Back
Little Box of Love is part of the Surfers Against Sewage Ocean Network - a collection of businesses who financially support their fight against pollution and plastic. Many of our suppliers work in a similar way. Through supporting them we are also supporting charities like the Lawrence Anthony Earth Organisation (LAEO), The Orchid Project, food banks and tree planting initiatives. Unlike some, we will not ask our customers for extra cash in order to donate to causes we care about.

Certified Materials
To minimise a lot of the 'greenwashing' campaigns that we're seeing a lot of amongst bigger businesses, we actively seek genuine certifications among our suppliers. Our gift box packaging is FSC Certified, we have PETA approved cosmetics, GOTS certified organic textiles, and Rainforest Alliance approved chocolate, to name a few.

From Ambition to Acquisition
We're not sloppy. We have the environment in mind from beginning to end. From small things like reusing our wholesale order packaging materials, to bigger things like posting the majority of our gifts by Royal Mail, who have the lowest gCO2e per parcel of any UK delivery company.
